We wrapped up our annual ANIDA Day celebration a few weeks ago and are excited to share that we raised over $25,000.00 and sponsored 35 Liberian children for our Hope for Tomorrow Program!
The support we received from donors, businesses, media channels, and guests makes a world of difference in the lives of so many disadvantaged children. Our guest speaker Leo Johnson couldn’t have said it better:
“The only hope for a country like Liberia coming out of close to two decades of civil war, the only hope that remains for this country, is the opportunity to grant access to education to thousands of young people. It is the only, most sustainable pathway that we can use to support not just young people but to secure the future of generations to come because education would allow people to access information and it will allow people to determine what they do with that information for their own benefits.”

Together we can make the world different. I hope ANIDA’s efforts can reach Yemeni community. I hope that efforts will be made to Yemen to reach a segment of the young population, those of school age, return them to education, and rescue them from dropping out.
