What is Hope Builders?

Hope Builders is ANIDA’s monthly giving community. Monthly gifts are pooled to support community-informed work in education, health, and sustainable income. Members receive regular updates showing where the work is happening, what progress is being measured, what ANIDA is learning, and what comes next.

Is Hope Builders the same as child sponsorship?

No. Child sponsorship connects a donor to ongoing support around a specific child within a community. Hope Builders supports the wider programs, partnerships, and systems that help children, families, and communities flourish.

Does my gift go directly to the examples listed in my tier?

Not to one specific item or person. Your gift joins a pooled fund supporting real programs like the examples described. This allows ANIDA and local partners to respond to approved priorities and changing needs while using resources equitably and efficiently.

Why are there tiers if donations are pooled?

The tiers make monthly giving accessible at different levels and shape the kind of reporting experience you receive. Higher tiers include more detailed reporting.

Will I see the difference my gift helps make?

Yes. Hope Builders receive quarterly updates with a location, reporting period, community voice, verified result, program learning, and next step. You can also review ANIDA’s impact reports, audited financial statements, and charity filings.

Can I support a specific country or program?

Hope Builders works through pooled giving across ANIDA’s program areas and active regions. If you want to support a specific country or initiative, contact ANIDA so the team can explain the appropriate giving options.

Can I choose a different monthly amount?

Yes. Choose an amount you can give consistently. Every monthly contribution joins the same pooled fund and helps ANIDA plan and respond with greater stability.

Can I change, pause, or cancel my monthly gift?

Yes. You remain in control of your giving. Contact ANIDA to change your amount, pause your gift, or cancel. The team will respond respectfully and without pressure.

Will I receive a charitable tax receipt?

Yes, once your gifts add up to $20 or more in a calendar year. You’ll receive one charitable tax receipt for the year’s total at the end of the year. Receipts follow the rules that apply to your donation and where you live. Questions about your receipt? Email info@anida.org.

How does ANIDA demonstrate financial accountability?

ANIDA publishes annual impact reports, audited financial statements, and registered charity information returns on its Reports page. ANIDA is also accredited through Imagine Canada’s Standards Program.

Will my name be publicly recognized?

Only if you want it to be. Recognition is optional, and ANIDA will ask your permission before listing your name in our annual impact report.

How often will I hear from ANIDA?

Every Hope Builder receives a quarterly Hope in Action update and an annual giving summary. Higher tiers also include a video journey, a twice-yearly impact brief or a leadership Q&A.
