We know that travelling to a different country, navigating a new culture and way of life can be challenging. You’ll probably be pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. While thinking about this, we want to share with you some unique places to visit and things you could do during your stay in Ghana, Liberia, and Jamaica!
Ghana: The canopy walk of Kakum National Park
There are lots of things to do in Ghana. From going on nature walks, lounging on beaches, and learning about Ghana’s rich history through cultural tours. You won’t be disappointed by the canopy walk located in Cape Coast. The canopy walk is suspended in a thick tropical forest and surrounded by a rich greenery. The Kakum National Park officially opened since 1992 and is one of the only 3 locations in Africa with a canopy walkway. This spectacular walkway provides access to the forest by connecting seven treetops, reaching 350 meters long.

Liberia: Buchanan
Previously known as Grand Bassa, Buchanan is located around just two hours from Monrovia and is the third largest city in Liberia. This scenic location has one of the most beautiful sunset beaches in the country. Buchanan is recognized to be a fine introduction to the coastal character of this part of West Africa.

Jamaica: The Dunn’s River Falls
Jamaica is blessed with an abundance of water, including several cascading waterfalls where you can actually climb up the waterfall. The most famous is Dunn’s River Falls, near Ocho Rios on the north coast. Dunn’s River Falls is 1,000 feet high, and the rocks are terraced like steps. Lagoons are interspersed among the rocks. When you ascend the falls you’ll almost certainly be in a crowd of climbers. Besides climbing the beautiful Dunn’s River Falls, you can spend time watching the sunset against this stunning and unique backdrop, running on the beach, or walking for exercise around the park.
