Founded 25 years ago, as a skill and support network we aim to empower underprivileged communities by removing obstacles that prevent children from accessing education and which keep women and their families in poverty.
Today, we are striving towards sustainable change through a lifestyle of sharing education, upholding our values, strengthening communities and connecting with people. We believe a genuine opportunity is only complete when it multiplies.
ANIDA is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors, who together share their experience and wisdom to give strong leadership and guidance.
Helping others is at the heart of what we do. We are humble in heart and mind through conscious decision, ready to serve. A servant leader follows their innate desire to help others, learning to embody the characteristics that allow them to become a better servant continuously.
We live a life of integrity in which our daily habits reflect our deepest values. We believe living with integrity means living your truth, embracing the path of honesty and fairness, and constantly challenging how you think and act.
ANIDA programs and projects are rooted in the context of the Christian faith to assist all people without regard to religion, race, or gender. We use a faith-based, abundant mindset to help us through challenging seasons, increase mindfulness and compassion, bring peace, and help each person discover their purpose.
We build strong communities through a shared sense of purpose and passion. A community is a circle of safety that creates an environment where leadership potential can flourish. Our communities provide a sense of belonging, and by joining our communities, you have a place to feel at home.
Diversity helps us view the world from a different perspective. A solution often requires out-of-the-box thinking, and working with a diverse group helps us think of better, more practical solutions to challenging problems.
