ANIDA’s Hope for Tomorrow program is a child sponsorship program that aims to educate a child in Ghana, Liberia, and Jamaica. It is a monthly donation program that goes towards the education of a child. Sponsoring a child is an active way to get the child and their family out of poverty. Education is powerful and increases the opportunities the child will have in their future.

The gifts from ANIDA’s Gift Catalogue go towards underprivileged children and families in Canada, Ghana, Liberia, and Jamaica. Our staff in our partner countries help distribute the gifts to our priority children and families. We make sure to connect with the communities we’re in to identify those who are in direct need.

At this time, you cannot gift to just your sponsored child however you can send mail to your sponsored child.

If you would like to mail something to your child, we suggest photos, postcards, drawings, stickers, or any other flat contents. You can send your letter to the following address: ANIDA, 4401 Steeles Avenue West, Toronto, ON, Canada, M3N 2S4.

Please note for the safety and privacy of our sponsored children and their families, our staff monitors letters and gifts sent to and from sponsored children. It is our policy that letters refrain from including addresses or any other identifying information.

Everyone can! We welcome all to check out ANIDA’s Gift Catalogue. Help make a lifelong impression to children and families in need! However, if you’re under the age of 13, make sure to check with your parents and/or guardians before purchasing a gift!

Our staff in our partner countries help distribute the gifts purchased. They are responsible for identifying children and families in need, and then distribute the gifts purchased based on priority. The items are purchased in the partner countries to ensure best prices and limited shipping or transport costs. Prices may vary based on the countries, so the listed price is the average cost for that item. Our staff work towards finding the best priced items to ensure donation is used efficiently.

There are benefits for both! Sponsoring a child is an investment in the future of the child and also betters the environment of their family. When sponsoring a child, you are helping alleviate the financial stress that children face and creating long-term changes within that child’s community. When purchasing gifts, you are providing children and their families with tangible gifts that will benefit them.

Sponsoring a child helps remove the financial barriers that prevent them from attending school. Through your sponsorship, we’re able to help support students with school-related expenses. Through the gift catalogue, you can help support women, children, and their families beyond education!

You most definitely can! When checking out, you can select the option of sending a card to the person you are honouring or buying the gift on behalf of. Make sure to fill out their information to ensure they receive your gift right to their home.
