Robert ’s story

I live in Liberia with my mom and 7 siblings. My father left us 6 years ago because he was very ill, and has since died from his illness. My goal is to be double promoted each school year and finish secondary school. I have been working very hard to achieve these goals by studying every day. My favorite subject is spelling and I am studying hard to do better in math. My mom never had the opportunity to attend high school, so she really values education for me and my siblings. Unfortunately, she cannot afford to fund all of our education on her own. With your help, I can stay in school and hopefully be able to achieve my dream of finishing secondary school. Through child sponsorship, your investment in his life also helps Robert ’s family and community.

Franklin’s story

I live in Liberia with my older sister who has done an amazing job taking care of me in place of my mom who left us over 7 years ago. My sister has impacted my life very positively, especially by encouraging me to go to school. In school, I have worked hard to achieve an 89% average. My favorite subject is English because I love to be creative and write stories. Unfortunately, even though my sister works hard to support us, we are unable to afford my education. As you can tell, I love school and I do not want to drop out. With your help, I can continue going to school and hopefully live a life out of poverty one day. Through child sponsorship, your investment in his life also helps Franklin’s family and community.

Prince’s story

I live in Liberia with my teenage aunt because my mom died during my birth. I am currently in junior kindergarten and I’m really enjoying it. My favorite subject is science and it has inspired me to become a doctor in the future! Unfortunately, even with my aunt’s hard work, she won’t be able to fund my education for much longer. With your help, I would have the opportunity to continue my education and hopefully one day, achieve my dream of becoming a doctor! Through child sponsorship, your investment in his life also helps Prince’s family and community.
