ANIDA Child Sponsorship
I live with my mother who is a single parent. I love school so much and am especially good at counting. I can’t wait to get better and better at spelling too because it will help me reach my dream of becoming a nurse. I am so happy to be a part of the Hope for Tomorrow program and with your continued donations, I will be sure to stay in school and one day fulfill my ultimate goal of giving back to my community. Through child sponsorship, your investment in her life also helps Oretha ’s family and community.
I live in Liberia with my mom ever since my father left us when I was 2 years old. My mom works very hard doing street vending to support my brother and I, especially during my struggle with malaria. I am currently in senior kindergarten and my favorite subject is math. In my free time, I really like to draw! I have made a promise to my mom and my teachers that I will be a good boy and I will never follow a bad crowd when I grow up. Since I am learning so much, I would really like to continue my studies. Unfortunately, my mom is struggling to fund my education. With your help, I can continue to learn and hopefully, one day, live a life out of poverty. Through child sponsorship, your investment in his life also helps Akon’s family and community.
I live in Liberia with my mom and 7 siblings. My father left us 6 years ago because he was very ill, and has since died from his illness. My goal is to be double promoted each school year and finish secondary school. I have been working very hard to achieve these goals by studying every day. My favorite subject is spelling and I am studying hard to do better in math. My mom never had the opportunity to attend high school, so she really values education for me and my siblings. Unfortunately, she cannot afford to fund all of our education on her own. With your help, I can stay in school and hopefully be able to achieve my dream of finishing secondary school. Through child sponsorship, your investment in his life also helps Robert ’s family and community.
I live in Liberia with my young mom because my father left us when I was born. Going to school makes me so happy! My teachers say I'm getting very good at recitation and I really enjoy playing with toys during our free time. I have learned that doctors make good salaries, so I have plans to become a doctor in my future! Unfortunately, with just my mom supporting the family, it is very difficult to fund my education. As a result, I may not be able to finish the school year. With your help, I could continue my studies and achieve my dreams of becoming a doctor! Through child sponsorship, your investment in his life also helps Titus’s family and community.
I live in Liberia with my older sister who has done an amazing job taking care of me in place of my mom who left us over 7 years ago. My sister has impacted my life very positively, especially by encouraging me to go to school. In school, I have worked hard to achieve an 89% average. My favorite subject is English because I love to be creative and write stories. Unfortunately, even though my sister works hard to support us, we are unable to afford my education. As you can tell, I love school and I do not want to drop out. With your help, I can continue going to school and hopefully live a life out of poverty one day. Through child sponsorship, your investment in his life also helps Franklin’s family and community.
Abandoned to a farming and sometimes hunting father who has to neglect keeping time with him and his sibling. Nonetheless, he is one of two whose parent's absence doesn't bother him at all. He keeps making good of his schooling. Through child sponsorship, your investment in his life also helps Daniel’s family and community.
I live in Liberia with my grandparent because, sadly, my father decided he did not want to care for me. I am currently in grade 5 and so happy to be a student. My favourite subject is math and I am so very proud to report that my teachers say I am highly innovative! I work very hard to do well in school and currently have a 90% average. Unfortunately, due to financial difficulties, I will have to drop out of school soon. With your kind support, I would be able to continue my studies and one day graduate to become a contributing member of the community. It would be thrilling to have my basic needs met and finally live a life beyond poverty. Through child sponsorship, your investment in his life also helps Zoryeah’s family and community.
I live in Liberia with my teenage mom because, sadly, my father abandoned us both years ago. I am currently in senior kindergarten and I’m so very proud to be a student. My favourite subject is spelling and my teachers say I am a very good, studious boy. Unfortunately, I will have to drop out soon because we cannot afford my education. With your help, I would have the opportunity to continue my studies and hopefully one day, I will live a life out of poverty. Through child sponsorship, your investment in his life also helps Larkpoh’s family and community.
I live in Liberia with my teenage aunt because my mom died during my birth. I am currently in junior kindergarten and I’m really enjoying it. My favorite subject is science and it has inspired me to become a doctor in the future! Unfortunately, even with my aunt’s hard work, she won’t be able to fund my education for much longer. With your help, I would have the opportunity to continue my education and hopefully one day, achieve my dream of becoming a doctor! Through child sponsorship, your investment in his life also helps Prince’s family and community.
Myers likes eating his breakfast in a hurry just to be in school on time. He is so excited to start school this year for the first time. His mother bore him in her very teener age to a dishonest father who abandoned them many years ago. Through child sponsorship, your investment in his life also helps Myers’s family and community.

Without poverty reduction, it is difficult to sustain and pass any impact we made from one generation to the next one. Poverty reduction encompass questions link to education, health, economic development, community empowerment. As complex as the needs of humans are, having a holistic approach to solve them become relevant for an organization like ANIDA.
Donors can speak to their representatives to make a pledge for ANIDA.
Representatives will fill out the word document or physical pledge form provided to them to keep track of the pledges.
Representatives will follow up with the donors who have made pledges throughout the donation period to remind donors to come to the next church service to bring their donations. If donors are unable to bring their donations to the church service, then the Donor Engagement team will follow up with them. At the end of the donation period, representatives will share the pledge information with the Donor Engagement Team through email.
